More!!! New Sketchy Book Stuff!!!
Good evening. Pour a drink, loosen your pants, sniff, smoke and brace yourselves! It's...
Another batch of crude and poorly conceived sketches mostly scrawled 2nd & 3rd Feb 2013...
I can't argue with this...
...Just to keep it "real"...
...Don't forget to be nice to each other!
...!
Just another "pastoral" study. Nothin' else goin' on...
If I pencilled these things first, the figure wouldn't look so crap...
I wish I knew what this was. I started off drawing a Pope. You may have to figure this out...
Yeah, yeah... divert 'em with a fart joke. In colour... Yeah...
I love Junko Mizuno's stuff. Dunno what the duck & the other things here are? Oh, my wandering brain!
Anyway, back to normal: Vampire! (He was fighting a Zombie, but it looked shit, so I "trimmed" it...
...And, finally, for now, a character sketch...
That's it! Stay tuned for more inky stuff next time... Thanks for calling round!

Andy Nukes!
I don't usually do unsolicited "greetings" cards or drawings, but I'll make an exception for cartoonist, Andy Nukes.
I know his stuff through Facebook and there's a good selection on Flickr too.
Andy's cartoons/drawings are full of the obvious pleasure that he gets from doing them, and he has more ideas than most of us would know what to do with! He draws as though he is the reincarnations of a Hermetic Monk, a demonic woodcut engraver and an '80's Punk Comix artist!
I also find that his cartoons/drawings have an optimism that I understand but can't duplicate in my own work. But mostly, his stuff is great fun to look at.
Oh, yeah... And today is his birthday.
Happy birthday, Andy!
Enjoy.

Alien Porn!
Yes, I've seen the future, and it's not very nice. Mind you, the past and the present were pretty fucked up too, so let's just get on with it.
It's true: First the Aliens will find us, then bomb the shit out of us, and then they will steal our toilet paper and sell it to wealthy alien clients to keep in perspex cases in museums, or for rich alien perverts to masturbate over. Oh, the bitter irony! Damn those erotic perforations!
Be vigilant. Hide your bog rolls. The aliens are on their way...
Oh, yeah... Enjoy the cartoon!

The Princess and the Pea-Pul (Colour Version)!
I don't read ERB, or much Science Fiction at all, to be honest, but I do like a lot of Sci-Fi illustrators.
This comic strip "came to me" in a dream. I don't usually dream up ideas in this way. I do what most of us do. Lock myself in my work room and hit my head against the wall until I think of something. Or sometimes I just use my imagination.
The gaudy colours on this are inspired by Jean-Claude Forest's brilliant Hypocrite series.
Not much else to say about this one. Like the lady says, "All the people need is tits and integrity"...
